PREPARING FOR SURGERY

Your Surgery Checklist !

  • Complete all pre-surgery tests (blood tests, X-rays)

  • Follow fasting instructions, as directed by your doctor

  • Arrange for post-surgery transportation

  • Arrange for help at home if needed

Day of Surgery:

  • Arrive at the hospital on time

  • Bring ID, insurance, and necessary documents

  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing

  • Remove jewelry and leave valuables at home

 

What to Expect:

  • Pre-operative evaluation and preparation

  • Meeting with your surgeon and anesthesiologist

  • Understanding the surgical procedure and risks

  • Post-operative care and recovery instructions

Post-Surgery:

  • Follow all discharge instructions

  • Schedule follow-up appointments

  • Report any unusual symptoms to your doctor
